We Built What We Wished We Could Find
Our story starts the same way a lot of great ideas do — with a frustrating experience. As avid travelers, we kept staying in vacation rentals that were almost great. Almost clean enough. Almost stocked enough. Almost well-designed enough. The kind of place where you'd look around and think: "I know exactly how to fix this."
So we did. We built our own portfolio from scratch — not as a side hustle, but as a reflection of what we genuinely believe a short-term rental should be. Every property in the Chic Chateaus family has been designed the way we'd want a home designed for us: thoughtful décor, a fully stocked kitchen, fresh linens that actually feel good, and a booking process that respects your time.
We're hands-on owners. That means when something needs fixing, it gets fixed. When a guest has a question, they hear back from a real person. And when we add a new property to the portfolio, it goes through the same standard as the first one.
